I just want to have a great time touring the city, How much money would I need not including hotel stay, To have a nice vacation?
Alan’s answer is brilliant as always, you can follow his advice, and it is very wise of you not to stay in a hotel as they are unreasonably expensive in Kiev, but as for taking ‘marshrutka’ – a mini bus from airport Borispol – I don’t think is convenient for everyone, it will take you only to the railway station, so a traveller with his luggage, who doesn’t know the city, can hardly find a way to his place or accommodation and then taking a taxi from the railway station will cost only a little less than going by taxi straight from the airport.
As for your finance, I think roughly $100 a day can suffice for food and excursions but of course you may easily spend twice of that, depends on your lifestyle.

Do I really need a grease trap for a waffle machine in a hotel?
I own a hotel in Lewisville and they are forcing me to install a grease trap. Can I fight this in a City Council Meeting? I am frustrated by this. How much grease could there possibly be?
Someone help me, it is bad for business when you have no choice but to serve a bad breakfast.
Last time I made waffles..there was no grease by-product. So not sure who is forcing you to install a grease trap on a waffle machine but obviously they’ve never used one. What you would need to do is come up with facts about your device and explain why a grease trap is not necessary. Also stop by your fire department and ask the Chief if there is a fire risk by not having one. Make sure he can be present at the meeting with you. Hope this helps.

I’ve been to Miami three times and LOVE IT! Six friends and I will be traveling once again to South Beach in November 2008 to celebrate my birthday.
My only complaint are the hotels. All three times I’ve been, the hotels have been deplorable: The Wave, Shelbourne, and Boulevard Hotels.
Does anyone know any good hotels to stay in in the South Beach area? We’re not even asking for much, just some place clean, where the furniture doesn’t look like it’s been chewed on. We’d like to stay between the 500 to 2000 blocks of Washington, Collins, and Ocean Drive. Thanks everyone!

Not sure of any off hand, but just a side note about hotels. They are not required to wash the bedspreads or the pillows (sheets and pillowcases, yes), so go in there knowing that they are dirty. When I travel, I take my own pillow, strip the bedspread, and check the drawers and between the mattresses. You’d be shocked what you will find.

okay so me and some of my cousins were thinking about going to the berkeley oceanfront hotel in asbury park, nj.. and i was searching what people said about asbury park and someone said its kind of bad and that belmar is wayy better.. so do u know any good hotels in belmar? or is asbury park still good? thanks
Asbury Park does have a reputation for having a lot of gang violence, but its boardwalk is also going threw a huge redevelopment plan! As long as you stay withing 5 blocks of the beach, it is perfectly safe! I go there all the time, and have never had any bad vibes. Ive never been to the Berkeley hotel, but I know it is right by the beach, and looks nice from the outside. Belmar doesn’t have as much crime, but if you want to be by the water, you are going to have to pay a lot more. A day pass to the beach at Asbury is $5 and a day pass for Belmar is $8. The two cities are completely different, Belmar is more of a collage kid hangout, while Asbury park has an older crowed, a huge music scene and a large gay community. If you are collage age, and want to go to a bunch of collage type bars, Belmar would be for you! If you are looking for a cheaper good time, and are more into bars with live music, Asbury would have more going on.

Ive been to Miami 3 times but have never stayed at either one. Last time i went I stayed at Nassau suites, nice boutique hotel good location. Whatever you book make sure it is either on Collins ave or Ocean drive and in the south beach area not north beach. I would advise you to check trip advisor and read some of the hotel reviews to get a better idea of which ones are recommended. Alot of the hotels in Miami look nice on the outside but are rat holes on the inside so beware and don’t just go by the hotel pics.
